Story boarding

I just started my storyboard/draft for my newest manga project Band of Thieves so i thought I'd post it here for everyone to see. Sorry that it's side ways.

It doesn't look too nice, but it's supposed to look like that. It's basically a draft that shows me the layout of each page. I draw 2 pages on every 1 page of my notebook so I don't run out of room.

Poke-people and Thieves

Yay for poke people! In case you didn't know poke people are characters based off of Pokemon. This one is based off of Pikachu the electric mouse Pokemon. I had seen a lot of people do these and I thought it would be fun and as it turns out it was.

And I forgot to crop it again.
This is Morier Grim, head of the Reaper thief gang from my manga band of thieves. Most people just call him Grim. He's basically a minor villain who appears in the introductory arc to help explain how the thief gangs battle each other and such. he may or may not become an ally later on in the story.

Drawings and Sketches!

These are my characters from a manga I'm working on called 'Band of Thieves.' These outfits aren't what they usually where, but this is the arc where they were invited to the Royal Palace so they were given nicer clothes. I really like the designs I came up with for them!

This is a character of mine from a project I probably won't continue, but I still like her a lot.

New drawings!

Yay! It's the epic Yin Yang twins. I really like how I designed them. They are actually minor villans/adversaries in the story, but they are still pretty awesome.

And Here is Elze again, this time with her bow. She ended up looking older, whoops. The scanner really messed up the drawing.

More characters

 Two more characters from the same manga as Augen and Katsuo.

This is Elze and she is the only girl main character.

And this is Keiji the Main character.

These are just some characters for two of my projects. Augen and Katsuo are both from the same manga and Reagan the only one I colored is from the same one as Noah. Anyhow I'd like to know which are your fovorite and why. Questions are welcome.

This is just a little doodly sketch thing I did in Corel Painter. I thought it turned out  pretty cool so I decided to post it here.

Stuff with markers

 So here's a little book mark I made with Copic and prisma color markers. I really don't have much to say about this one... Oh well on to the next drawing.

This is exactly what it looks like. A flower wrapped around a pole of sorts. The Japanese says "hana" which means flower.I knda botched the glowey effect around the flower though, whoops. It still turned out pretty good. Tell me what you think.

New Character time!

Yay! i've come up with a new character and have been perfecting him. I think I've got him down pretty good now. This is my first sketch of him:

Yup that's him, His name is noah if you haven't guessed yet.
Now on to the more recent drawing, in full color! yay.

There it is. I think I finally got hold of the blending on the computer. It turned out pretty good.I changed him up a bit from the sketch. He'll probably change a whole lot more before I'm done. We'll see.

Pablo

Yea so I've been drawing a lot on paper and I've been too lazy to scan them up so i only have a few things to show you. One of them is Pablo:

The scan was a bit of a failure because I nudged it while I was scanning, but it's still looks ok. I'm proud of this  because i finally after forever figured out how to blend my graphite well. meaning that when i smudge my drawing in the places where i want to create a shadow it actually looks good! Yay!
You may be wondering why I named him Pablo. That's because Pablo is the boy in the story we were reading in intro to spanish class. It's about a boy named pablo who wants 88.2 cats and already has 88.2 elephants, but he doesn't really like elephants which is why he wants the cats. It's a weird story.

Next one ! This one probably took four hours which were spread over the course of several days. It's just a practice page. All I did was sketch the page on paper then upload it onto manga studio in which i did the inking, screentone, lettering, speech bubbles, and other stuff to make it look cool.

The guy in the middle ended up getting a #1 in his face because I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. Grr. I would upload the sketch but blogger isn't letting me.so no can do. Till next time.

Manga page

So I drew this last night and it took me like two hours to get from sketch to inked final product. which is unfortunately flawed cause I can't erase some of the messed up ink lines :(
Anyhow I'm still really proud of it and ran around school today showing it to my friends. It's a wonder it didn't get ruined at all by now!Anyhow here it is:

I had to make it extra large because the scanner did not do a very good job. I hope you can see it ok.
I case you can't see whats going on this girl got like locked up or something and used her epic fire powers to break the chain.
Yea that's basically it... It doesn't really come from any story or anything I just drew it as practice. Hope you like it! Until next time!


Oh wait I almost forgot! thanks for 1000 page views! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. That's pretty darn awesome. Thanks so much for reading this blog!

Mwahahaha

Ok i don't even know why I made the title like that. I'm feeling very random today, like earlier I wrote a very random story about all the things I thought about right then. It had a lot of characters from different stories in it...Anyhow I'm off topic I actually wanted to post this:

 Extra Large Size yay! Aren't they Awesome? They're these little paper cut out things that I colored with markers on watercolor paper and them laminated with packaging tape. I had made more but one is on my violin case and the others I gave to my friends.
So From left to right I  have Gaara of the sand village from "Naruto" and Tsunayoshi Sawada from "Katekyo Hitman Reborn!"
I had fun making them. Tsunayoshi (Aka Tsuna) was my first so some of the color blending I did failed, like the fire.
Plus I don't really do fan art a lot so I'm not really used to drawing the characters, but I think it all turned out well.

Should I?

I have drawn and colored some little characters on watercolor paper and was wondering if you would be interested in that kind of thing? I could scan them up and show them to you but i didn't know if you would be interested so tell me ^^.If not ill think of something else.

I got Kinda lazy towards the end when i realized that photoshop didn't have the tool i wanted to use for blending so that's why it looks a little strange, but i had fun making it. The original looked better but that got deleted.Sorry for the random song It's from photoshop.

Discontinued manga

Im sorry everyone who was waiting for the next page of my manga. Im gonna have to discontinue it because I lost all the pages I had been working on when we fixed the computer!(It was only two more but they took me forever to make!)
The good news is I'm making a video of my drawing process at the moment that goes from sketch to finished product so that'll be cool.
Oh and a quick question. Would you like me to start drawing tutorials? Like how to draw a manga eye or something?

Yay My computer is fixed but the hardrive got wiped so i dont have any drawings to show you at the moment...Well Somthing will be done soon so ill post lots of new drawings and all that.Sorry that ive been gone for so long!

new character

so this is my character Lila. i made her up yesterday.

So what i did was i put A gradient in the background and then i added a new laer that was white and erased to draw this.

Copic marker test

So I got some Copic Markers from my Aunt and Uncle (Thanks so Much!) and i tried them out today!

Unfourtunatly it seems that the scanner caused some lines to appear on their faces grr.lol ok so anyway they turned out pretty good! I had a little slip up over on the back of the cats head... too much ink came out since they were brand new. Tell me what you think!
